​Need digital scale batteries? Since almost ​all of ​the kitchen scales featured on this site are digital, they will all need their batteries replacing at one point or another. We often get asked “what size battery do I need for my kitchen ​food scale?”. Of course, without knowing which digital scale you’re using, it’s difficult to advise appropriately.

​So here’s our digital scale batteries table of the most popular brands of kitchen scale, ​which will tell you exactly what you need – the battery size and the quantity of batteries ​required for that scale.

To me, quality matters. If I’ve bought a set of batteries, I want them to last as long as possible so that I’m not having to change them often, usually when it’s most inconvenient. So I’m only listing decent batteries, not cheap ones. However, I also list rechargeable batteries for those who prefer that type.

The packs I list will generally contain at least 2 sets of batteries (except for CR2032) so that when the set you are using dies, you’ll have another set to use straight away. Generally speaking most of these batteries have a very long shelf-life, so they will be good to use at a later date.

Just remember to order more batteries when you get to start using that last set. Trust me, you’ll regret it if you don’t!
